Basically what you are running into is a bug in glibc-2.1.x which prevents a binary that has not been linked against libpthreads from loading a library that has. You can either use the Oracle 8.0.5 libraries which were not linked against pthreads, or you can recompile your Apache httpd binary and link in -lpthreads -Rasmus On Fri, 11 Aug 2000, Martin Roest wrote: > Hi, > > We've got some serious problems with our Apache installation. > > We need php with oci support only apache keeps crashing. > We've got a Redhat 6.1 system with apache 1.3.12, php 4.0.1pl2 and > Oracle 8.1.6 client libraries. > When we try to start apache it crashes.
