Don't feel like you have to use the _ex() functions if you can't get them
to work. You might be modifying your parameters which you are not allowed
to do when using the _ex() functions. Also are you using
zend_get_parameters_ex()?
There isn't any API documentation for resources right now. You'll need to
take a look at some of the code others have written.
If you have any specific questions I'm sure people here will help you out.
However, maybe you should wait for messing with it in your modules after
PHP 4.0. It will probably take some time for your code to stabilize. Best
is to first of all port the code and later improve it with the new
features offered by PHP 4.
