Something, somewhere, is broken in your builds. It could be linking with other libraries that have the wrong C runtime set. Basically, it sounds as if you're mixing debug and release builds. When was the last time you built bindlib_w32? Do you have any other legacy builds laying around? Do you link any extra libraries into the PHP build? I urge you to try a clean checkout, into a new directory, and start from scratch. Your problem should not exist. msvcrt.dll is the Release version of the C runtime, and if you're building a debug version, it should not be linked at all, unless you're linking with libraries that were build against it, or have seriously broken .dsp's.
