i *knew* i should have put i disclaimer on that message! by posting it i
was *not* implying that no-one listens to the userbase, or that the
php-dev team don't care what they think. i was simply trying to suggest a
more direct way to show the users *how much* they care (ie. by making a
special point of it).

not at all. this ain't the gnome foundation 8^)
