how about let the distribution group contribute
to the packaging efforts
for solaris.. I think sunfreeware is a good thing
there is a need for doing package for those who do not
have the right enviroment setup and it reduce the rest
10000 users time to perform compilation(it can take a day or two )
or we can put packaging how-to on the php doc so it allows
people to contribute their packages.
