IF a poll was made, this would be my response:
I'd like to see those bugs fixed before any release is made be
it minor or major. Maybe this would be the time to suspend adding
new feature and instead hunt and kill those bugs ?
IMO most important thing to fix is the configure system which
gives most of the 'gray hair':
Compile failure: 544
Compile warning: 31
Installation problem: 314
--------------------------
Total: 889
These are totals, open and closed included. But it shows that
almost 1/4 of all the bugs in the database are related to configuring
and installing..
One major problem is that there are these extensions
enabled by default:
- GD
- MySQL
- XML
Which, IMO, all should be enabled ONLY when wanted.
