Unfortunately, that's sometimes not an acceptable option (or, it could be,
I just don't now it, or how). I just don't know how the bug reporting
system actually works. Maybe I'll have to do a cvs checkout tomorrow and
fix it. But &MAGIC_COOKIE=1 and '"Remember my login/password' checkbox"
will not do it.
Now, after saying what I said.
Consider a situation, where I'm at a customers machine, fixing a bug, and
really fixing it. I might want to make a note that the problem is fixed
and how it was done, but I'm somewhere where I haven't got a personal (and
I'm definitely not going to checkout anything from cvs with someone elses
account with modification rights) login, and I'd like to note that the
bug will be fixed in exactly the way I did it (want to give myself and
the buglist some notion about it, in case a bus drives over me), and I
also don't want to leave any cookies on the customers machine.
A lot of incomprehensible babble. But you'll have to excuse me today. I
went to my customary pub and heard that one of my friends died last night.
Too many beers to think straight.
