Just for the record, here is a short HOWTO I wrote up after I got SGML working. 10 Steps To The Manual 1. Get SGMLTools (2.0.3 or higher) from http://www.sgmltools.org/ Install it in /opt/sgml 2. Get docbk30.zip from http://www.ora.com/davenport/ Install it in /usr/lib/sgml/docbook30 3. Make modular stylesheets available through a "standard" path ln -s /opt/sgml/share/sgml/stylesheets/docbook \ /usr/lib/sgml/docbook 4. Create a link in the catalog directory ln -s /usr/lib/sgml/docbook30/docbook.cat \ /etc/sgml/catalog.d/50-docbook30.cat 5. Add /opt/sgml/bin to your PATH 6. Source /etc/sgml/sgml.env from your /etc/profile or .bashrc For csh, there is /etc/sgml/sgml.cenv available. 7. Run /opt/sgml/bin/gensgmlenv 8. In /etc/sgml/catalog.d/50docbook-stylesheets.cat comment out the line SGMLDECL "dtds/decls/docbook.dcl" 9. Now relogin to clear your environment 10. Run make in the doc directory -- Regards, Sascha Schumann Consultant -- PHP Development Mailing List http://www.php.net/ To unsubscribe send an empty message to php-dev-unsubscribe@lists.php.net For help: php-dev-help@lists.php.net
