Maybe it has been fixed.
Take this:
$a[5][1000]
and
$b[1000][5]
Which uses more memory? Even though, conceptually, they have the same number of elements, $b is FAR
more
inefficient.
AFAIK there are no "multidimentional" arrays in PHP, but the ability to create arrays of
arrays, which
while similar in syntax, are different in implementation.
