-1 on changing this with PHP 4.x - with PHP 5.x people realize that
something big has changed. The register_golabls thing should have also been
changed in PHP 5 and not in 4.x, but anyway it's too late for that now ;)
Ah. I'm against changing this. But IF it's changed change it with 5.

Well... What about an _optional_ curses based, linux-kernel-like "make
menuconfig"?
