Hi,
I'm using PHP 4.2.1 with Apache 2.0.39 on RedHat Linux server, and
found that $HTTP_???_VARS (like $HTTP_POST_VARS) are always empty.
Though I could access posted values by _POST["name"], but many
scripts use $HTTP_POST_VARS["name"], so this can't be a help.
Any hint?
My configuring options:
> ./configure \
> --prefix=/usr/local/php \
> --with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs \
> --with-mysql=/usr \
> --enable-track-vars
(I know --enable-track-vars option is enabled by default, though)
In my httpd.conf for Apache:
> LoadModule php4_module modules/libphp4.so
> AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .phtml
> <Files *.php>
> SetOutputFilter PHP
> SetInputFilter PHP
> </Files>
test script:
> <?php
> echo "Content-Type: text/plain\n\n";
> echo "This is a test script.\n";
> echo "name: ", $HTTP_GET_VARS["name"];
> ?>
and http://server/test.php?name=foobar would
output:
> This is a test script.
> name:
Sorry if we already have a solution for this.
