Maybe I'm different but I much more prefer to find the new message at the
top. I don't want to have to scroll through the mess below to find the reply
I am looking for.

Hey all,
I wanted to make a humble suggestion. I am new to this list, however I have
noticed a
lot of no-no's on this list. Some common things NOT to do when being a part
of a
news/mail group are:
1. Never top post. If your email client (Outlook/OE) starts your reply at
the top
then just cut and past it to the bottom. It is a pain and also silly
logic to
have to read a message from the bottom up.
2. Never post in HTML. HTML is a waste of bandwidth for email and can
carry viruses.
At work I use Outlook, however at home it I use Mutt or Sylpheed which
are plain text
e-mailers. For email sent from work I make Outlook use plain text.
Please don't flame me, these are just my opinions on how to make this high
volume list
more enjoyable.
Best,
Jim Drabb
