i dont know what is the problem now
i send 5000 email in 10 minutes (this is not a SPAM) using sendmail server
(localhost settings)
there could be a problem if you are using SMTP server that is not localhost
based (using any other address)
or if your message is too big.
Yes there will be problems if you are using your own server because there
could be problems with sending
Try sendmail from console and see what will be the result please
