If I understand you correctly, this is what I'm doing. The user sees only
one form, and this first form gathers data into variables which PHP can
access. Then a second POST sends this to the third party server, but this
time there's no visible form. I guess you'd call it a virtual form. Both
are done with Javascript.
If there was a non-Javascript way to gather info from a form and put it
into PHP $variables I'd be set.
How about sessions? I haven't used them but is there something I'm
overlooking there that would work? I guess the crux of the problem is
getting data out of an HTML form, not just out of PHP, which lead to my
method of using some HTML, some Javascript, and some PHP to get the job done.
If any PHPLIB or PHP4 developers are listening, this would be a great
addition, a PHP4 version of on_submit() and on_click() and on_load !!
