I agree with the simplicity of PHP and databases. I'm using PHP with a Oracle 8 database, and i
learnt how to extract and insert
data in a few days...
And i have a friend that is programming with java servlets. He also works with Oracle 8 databases,
but when he asked me to help him
to connect to the DB i got astonished of the Java code...
4 lines of 50 chars just to connect to the database... 3 to make a query... 5 to extract a row...
And it's SO SIMPLE with PHP that i simply hate java and love PHP...
