We are also a web creation company (we used to make Client server applics in Smalltalk, and are still doing this in Java). Because we needed speed in development I proposed to completely by myself to create web applics in PHP while the seniors here want to use Java servlets and jsp in combination with a 20000 USD web application server from IBM(yes, a dual CPU server needs 2 licences :-) ). I am advancing very rapidly, I just finished my first web app for an intranet while they are still struggling to get to know the WAS beast !!
