Actually a buddy of mine works for them and this is what he had to say
about that...
"No it does not load the jvm each page request. Once the servlet is
loaded,
it generally remains in the server's memory as a single object instance.
Then, the server involkes the servlet to handle a request. It does not
spawn a process or interpreter so it starts handling the request almost
immediately. Multiple concurrent requests are handled by separate
threads."
