In case anyone wants to try this the notation above does not work. So far as
I can see, you have to set "On" in the php.ini line:
asp_tags = On ; allow ASP-style <% %> tags
This enables the variable-value printing shorthand of <%= $value %>. Note
that there is no colon ;
This seems to work fine. It took me a bit of time to track this down in the
docs, so I thought I would pass it on.
