Well, as long as the real programmers' editor is running on a real
programmer's OS >:) May I suggest NEdit (http://www.nedit.org/) which
has available syntax support for PHP, HTML, and a squillion other
languages. And I think with a bit of a battle you can cajole it to run
under some versions of BillOS.
