Hi Carroll,
I tend to post to the list and the author if it will build the knowledgbase,
and only the author if my response becomes off-topic (like I'm extolling the
virtues of one of my company's products without any php relevance).
I think whether the list is cc'd or replied to is irrelevant.
Best regards,
Andrew

Subject: [PHP] Posting to this list
To anyone/everyone:
When posting a response to an email on this list, should I:
1. reply only to the list?
2. reply to the author and to the list?
3. reply to the author and cc to this list?
I have seen it done all three ways.
Is there a Best Way(tm)?
Regards,
Carroll Barrett
