Is there a nice and clean C-callable library that implements this
stuff? If so, writing a PHP wrapper for it is almost trivial. Not asking
you to do it, but if you do the legwork research and come up with a
libmath.a type of library, somebody on php-dev@lists.php.net will most
likely attack it.
