Why not start out by testing on one of the fast machines and publish the
results. Then run identical tests on the slower P200 box and post those
for comparison.
It would also be interresting to see how it affects the numbers running
the database on one machine and the webserver on another (ideally testing
both 10 & 100Mbit/sec ethernet, and a switched vs non-switched net).
Something like the following:
Webserver on P200, DB on PIII (or Athlon) / Webserver on PIII (or
Athlon), DB on P200
versus
Webserver & DB on P200 / Webserver & DB on PIII (or Athlon)
also; have you considered using Apache on Win32 as well as IIS ?
The more different combinations you test, the more interresting the
results will be to study (IMHO).
