connect_simple() does not pass any parameters other than the user ones. Does that answer your question?

It depends on whether connect_simple() allows user args in the way that connect_object() did... assuming it does, this would seem to be over the top. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Andrei Zmievski" <andrei@gravitonic.com> To: "PHP DEV" <php-gtk-dev@lists.php.net> Sent: Friday, October 14, 2005 5:05 AM Subject: [PHP-GTK-DEV] Connection methodsI've implemented the new connection method connect_simple() and deprecated connect_object(), which will still work but issue a notice. Now, do we really need connect_replace()? This is the method that will replace the signal widget parameter with a user supplied one, e.g.: $drawing_area->connect_replace('button_press_event', 'replace', $window, array(1,2)); function replace($myparam, $event, $userarg) {/* $myparam is $window and $userarg is array(1,2) */} Is this useful at all? -Andrei -- PHP-GTK Development Mailing List (http://gtk.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
