It's the only binary on my system and it has the correct 'modified'
date. Does PHP have a habit of skipping --enable's if it can't find
something and not telling you about it?

Hi again,
Perhaps you install the php-binary in a different location than the
"original" php binary brought to you by the system. This "original"
binary mitght be the one you are calling, an not the brand new one....
Try a ls -la
which php (note the backticks) to see which php binary
you're calling and compare it to what you wanted to call.

Subject: [PHP-INST] Re-configure!
I am trying to reconfigure PHP 4.3.1 with additional --enable's but
after I do the configure, make, make install, I do a php -m to see the
modules I added and I get nothing. Even if I do a --disable-xml (since
it is installed by default), it doesn't go away in php -m.
What must I do to re-build PHP? I could have sworn I did this before. I
originally compiled PHP when I had the 2.4.20-8 kernel under Redhat 9,
but I was able to get it to compile under the 2.4.20-9 kernel and PHP
updated the System line in phpinfo();
Any info would be appreciated.
