Are you running your current apache setup with php as a cgi or as a module? I would expect the CGI version to be rock solid, but the module version to be less so - generating the type of page faults you describe. >Here's a bit of a thorn in my side - At least in the easy installer for 4.0.3, he gave >you a damn program to test the installation with. (of course, it disappeared when I de-installed >his version.) Just imagine a newbie with the 4.0.4 version and no bloody program to even test >with - bollocks! Yes - it's on my todo list to find the server root directory and stick a 'test.php' file in it which just does a phpinfo(). I'm thoroughly unfamiliar with PWS (just distant memories of IIS3 on NT4 which was fundamentally the same thing), but I wonder if there is some kind of debug mode you can get it into in order to get it to output some log entry as to the cause of the 500 server error.
