Please no, I want to read e-mails when I want, with my own software, leaving to me the freedom to mark things as important, or read, or unread, or sort them in folders. An important point : not all people in the world have access to the internet at all time. Some people have to fetch the messages and read them offline later. Also being able to be offline to write an e-mail is much better. Besides, there's already https://externals.io for people who prefer a web interface.
