It's not hard. I don't think anybody ever argued it's hard to understand. The argument was it's too verbose once you talk about multi-dimensional arrays with a lot of sub-arrays containing in turn even more sub-arrays - entire code becomes packed with repetitions of "array" word. -- Stanislav Malyshev, Zend Products Engineer stas@zend.com http://www.zend.com/$a = array( 1, 2, 3 ).
