Would you please put it directly under the Security heading then with the new date of December 18th? I understand that the security issue is of course higher priority. Is just that the old date and posting of the 4th does not allow people to get informed that speakers have been announced as well as the remaining 8 days for the early bird special. From personal experience, I completely overlooked the adjustments made to the posting as I overlooked the post and thought that it was the same. Here is the new version: HTML START ----------------- ----------------------------
Seakers Announced for PHP West Conference on Web Services - Vancouver (Jan 14)

[18-Dec-2004] PHP West is holding a conference on January 14th, 2005 at the Vancouver Planetarium providing a great environment for the promotion of PHP within the Vancouver area. With the high impact level of speakers scheduled for this event, you can look forward to in depth talks from speakers of the likes of Rasmus Lerdorf, Terry Chay, John Coggelshall, Ilia Alshanetsky, and Cal Henderson speaking on a wide array of topics focused on Web Services.

Early Bird Specials are in effect right now, tickets are only $40 for the next 8 days! Due to limited capacity for this event we recommend you register soon to reserve your seat.
---------------------------- HTML END ------------------- Many thanks. I just noticed that this e-mail's subject is in reply to the first. Back then when I have read your second rewrite (which you sent after I have committed the first rewrite), I have not seen substantial changes. What are the changes you are missing? It is not possible now to push news items on top of the important security announcement on top of php.net, I was explictly asked not to do so. Otherwise since the news items are in a text file, it does not help to remove and readd a news item. http://www.php.net/source.php?url=/index.php Goba
