I agree on this one. It was the main barrier for me
too to start writing the docs. Then one day with
enough sparetime I just decided "i have to figure out
how to make this work". Must say it was one of the
most confusing things I have done for a while.
I am working on Solaris will be writing a small howto
on how to make the build enviroment.
