In the past I've used test environments on SuSE Linux and since a year
or so on Debian stable and with both distributions, building the docs
worked just fine out of the box. I suspect that this isn't different
with Redhat et.al.

A few mails ago people were longing for a more "professional" PEAR and
now they are longing for a non-professional way for writing docs. Hell,
in what kind of project am I involved here? ;-)
