I have just downloaded the latest snapshot (http://snaps.php.net/win32/php4-win32-STABLE-200304240030.zip) and run go-pear.php - it backed up my current pear.bat but no new one was created.
I have a .tmppear which looks like the *nix shell command for pear, but nothing that I can use.
