Snapshots come in useful for users who do not have access to the cvs
repository (firewall rules).
Even if stated in big bold red letters a warning would only be followed by
so many people. That would inevitably make "noise". The snapshots should not
be easy to fond as well, i.e: no link on pearweb frontpage :)
