The one now available in HTML_QuickForm is a copy of this old one. The HTML_Select you are now maintaining is totally useless for QuickForm, and I think it's not designed as it should have been: it's just a data container. If the old HTML_Select is resurrected, I will only use it in QuickForm if I can maintain it too, both codes interact a lot.
