Hello,
I've added PEAR_PackageFileManager to cvs, there is some work to do (I want to use PEAR_Error for problems)
but the initial code is working and available through
pear install http://www.chiaraquartet.net/apidoc/PEAR_PackageFileManager-0.1.tgz
I will do the first alpha release through the pear.php.net website when the error handling is complete. I'm assuming there will be many feature requests/changes needed, which is the reason for the alpha classification.
