Re: sources for PEAR_PackageFileManager

Hi, I use the PEAR_Common->infoFromString() to extract the file contents, and it removes the DOCTYPE completely. Should I open a bug on this, Martin, or is there a way to preserve it when using PEAR_Common->xmlFromInfo()? Greg Mirco 'Meebey' Bauer wrote:

But I found 3 strange behaviors: license in the option array is not fully used, 1. in the current release the license tag is not touched at all, so if there is a license tag is will be the same value whatever it was. 2. the license tag is always removed from package scope, I had the license tag after the package description, its gone. 3. in the changelog section the license tag is removed from an older release, but the license tag _is_ written for the new changelog. so far I could only find problems with the license tag, everything else worked fine, except some cosmetic things (wrapping the XML tags around...)
