Well... what would such a "non-official.pear" be useful for... The fact is
that there are a lot of developers who write thier own PEAR-compatible
packages stuff. Some of this packages will never fit to PEAR due to diverse
reasons, but still be usefull for certain developers... I'm not talking
about second repository or package-hosting. I think some collection of
non-official PEAR resources would be very useful in this case. And where
would people suppose to find such resources if not at official PEAR website?
