I agree, having to install a package in order to review the code is a pain
in the back and won't help improve its quality or find the bugs.

I agree again. Looks like Lukas Smith, Stefan Neufiend and Hartmut
Holzgraefe voted +1. That's only 3 votes, it should never have been
accepted. This package is just a hack.
Hopefully, when we will have the new package proposal interface, things like
that won't happen as often (another example is Stream_Var).
