Hi!
I've written a MIME class which uses the Shared MIME Database from freedesktop.org. It can determine MIME types of files and query for details about MIME types. Someone suggested I should submit this class to PEAR. Any thoughts about this?
You can find the module itself on http://www.liacs.nl/~dvbeelen/MIME.php.txt. The module is written in PHP5, a version for PHP4 will be available shortly.
Greets,
