Mod 10 for Payment package?

I've noticed the Payment package has all sorts of
transaction/verification options, but doesn't include the more simple
Mod 10 algorithm. Is anyone working on this? Would this be a good idea
for a package?
The company I work for does verification offline and charges the credit
card manually so we use Mod 10 for initial web verification. I'd be
willing to program and submit the class if the community thinks it's
worthwhile.
