Generally agreed for adding this. But there is Validate_Finance in
CVS (and if Pierre finds the time for a new release of Validate it's
also "out in the wilds"). So maybe such checking-algorithms should
also go into Validate_Payment? I've previously agreed with Pierre
that I volunteer to coordinate the Finance-part. Afaik there hasn't
been a real decision on this - but if you'd contribute a credit-card-
validation you might send me a patch against latest CVS and I'll
commit it to Validate_Finance.
Please note that there is also a check for Validate::creditCard().
Maybe this is a bit to simplistic and could be further improved if
you're about to implement a larger / better algorithm?
The discussion has been on the list before (with
Validate_Finance_IBAN) that this belongs in Validate because it
doesn't have to do anything with actual payments (like cybercash,
HBCI or something).
