Since it seems to be more advanced than the current one and doing BC break by starting to use factory pattern is a good idea, we could do a 2.x release out of it. I still don't like File_Passwd_Authbasic being dependent on external htpasswd binary. That should be used only if internal php functions are not adequate. Guess that could be fixed later though.
