I submitted these files to someone a while back, but they never found
their way into the Validate package for some reason. Basically it's an
extension of the already existing Validate::creditCard(). It takes into
account expiration, CC type, etc.
I would recommend making the existing Validate::creditCard() a wrapper for
this.
I added some test numbers that I found on the internet to both
CreditCard.php and cc_test.php. You will have to change the require
statement in cc_test.php when you finalize CreditCard.php's location.
The final classes are:

http://professorx.jcssolutions.com/~jstump/cc_test.phps
cc_test.php doesn't conform to PEAR's coding standards. If this needs to
be changed let me know.
Ian, this is the code I mentioned before ... I plan on writing an
"offline" driver tonight or tomorrow. I'll use this for that.
