actually Tomas, you (and Stig) should check out the SQLite project at
Freshmeat. its a public domain, actively developed database engine with near
SQL-89 (or is it 92 ?) support. its under 15,000 lines of code, and the
design is fairly modular (SQL parsing is separate from the data handler,
etc). i was actually thinking of using the parser in a project (SQL support
for xbase)
