Hi All,
I am using the Auth class with a connection to Oracle (made with PEAR DB and the DB container).
I have modified Auth so that the script exits (exit;) after the login form appears.
I use an include for that. Here is the code :
function drawLogin($username = "", $password = "")
{
global $HTTP_SERVER_VARS, $username;
include('fr_login_form.php');
exit;
}
I use Oracle 8.1.6 on a distant server and my webserver is on another machine which runs Apache 1.3.20 with PHP 4.0.6 on Suse 7.2 (where another version of Oracle is also installed : 9.0.1, but I don't use it for this). Each time I launch the script I get this error in my php error log :
PHP Warning: failed to rollback outstanding transactions!: ORA-24324: service handle not initialized
in Unknown on line 0
Apparently, the Auth doesn't even happen, there is only a call to the _factory method which tries to connect to the DB.
From time to time (I can't say exactly when it happen yet) I get notices in my Apache error log :
[notice] child pid 32343 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)
Php 4.0.6 was compiled with --oci8 and --enable-sigchild, --without-mysql and --with-apxs.
I wonder where the problem comes from ?
Could be :
- My code ?
- The exit; right after the include ?
- PHP OCI8 extension ?
- PEAR DB class ?
- Apache ?
- Oracle ?
or the mix of some of them.
What's weird is that if I use the getAuth method instead of the exit; after the include I don't get any errors anymore. It makes me think that it might also be related to sessions ?
Or maybe it is very simple and it has been solved already...
If someone who knows Oracle and PHP well could help me with this, that would be great !
Thanks
