Well, there are are bigger and smaller packages in most of the
categories. I assume that if there is almost one package per category
as a user I would also end-up in signing up to all lists to keep
informed (announcements). Therefor maybe a general list just for
announcements (new releases or even definitive plans for changes,
that should be communicated to the users of the packages) might be a
good solution.
