Since you say that most functions the OLE-package currently offers concentrate on the writing of files it would be helpful to improve it's reading capabilities and make it even more universal for handling OLE-files. If you find a way to incorporate your functions needed for reading simply package an improved version of the current OLE with your proposal. As soon as the proposal is accepted you can incorporate your suggestions into a new release of OLE together with its maintainer. Regards, Stefan
