Hi I just hacked around a little bit on our software. Certainly improvable and some features are missing, but the preliminary result can be seen here: http://planet-p.bitflux.org/ If there's interest, I can further work on that. And yes, it's not about doing blogs on pear.php.net and it doesn't have to be an official php project. AFAI understand aggregators, it's just a webpage with links to pear/php-related blogs with the latest entries directly shown ;) chregu
Looks pretty good just what i was looking for. Now if we could just find all the PEAR blogs out there add filtering so we just get hte php/pearish categories it will be good to go. Of course it might be nice to get a link from some place on pear.php.net.
Guys, wait with linking please ;) I have to clarify some code ownership and copyright issues before I can really publicly announce this site. Should be resolved in the next few days. Also a better URL would be nice, if someone has an idea or a spare subdomain. Serving the page from my webserver shouldn't be a problem. But what you can do is sending me your feeds, if they contain PHP related postings. A RSS1.0 or RSS2.0 feed would be great, as RSS 0.92 doesn't have a date field (AFAIK). The tool can also handle more than one feed per blog, therefore if you have for example a PHP and a PEAR category besides all your other categories, just send me the 2 links to these category feeds and i'll add it. TIA chregu
