You have to follow the link "New package" first and create your package before uploading.

It's fine. However, it might take a week or two to get the request processed - since this has to be approved by the php.net-group. Be patient in that matter, please.

I'm having the same problem in getting Mail_IMAP uploaded and released. The instructions at http://pear.php.net/manual/en/developers.release.web.php do not mention a 'New Package' link?!? I sent a message about the problem to the PEAR Group. But haven't yet heard the solution. Regards, Richard York
