Hi! I decided to check the relation of PEAR CVS to actual packages published via PEAR website. Got some interesting results. Ghost packages (exist in CVS but not on website) * Search_Mnogosearch
My fault. Mnogosearch extension API and parameters have changed too much recently, so this package is mostly out of date now. I keep on using it as a reference to get more information on the way parameters are given to mnogosearch functions. Mnogosearch documentation being very out of date on the PHP website and the PHP frontend code in Mnogosearch being very cryptic and unreadable, my code can help understand better a few things on how to use Mnogosearch with PHP in a more OO manner. I guess it can be removed if some one wants to remove it. Or even, it could be reworked if someone is motivated. Today, I would do it differently and use an Agent and a result objects.
I dont think we should really remove code. I can see us moving code if we have a name clash. However it might be a good idea to add a little explanation to CVS in a READMEFIRST file .. or DEPRECATED or whatever. -- Lukas Smith smith@backendmedia.com _______________________________ BackendMedia www.backendmedia.com berlin@backendmedia.com Linn Zwoch Smith GbR Pariser Str. 44 D-10707 Berlin Tel +49 30 83 22 50 00 Fax +49 30 83 22 50 07
