Generally I would say that LiveUser is flexible enough to be simple
enough to not be overkill. However the problem is it lacks documentation for people so it seems like it is overkill :-)
well, after spending almost two hours trying to get LiveUser running i do agree that liveuser lacks documentation :-), since i couldn't get the examples running. both latest version from pear.php.net and cvs won't work... basically i am not sure at all wether i used the correct scripts to generate the database, ending in total confusion how to set up the script to work with my existing test application.
there's not much info in the web, too, so i am looking forward for bad weather on the next weekend to make my way through it :-).
but i'll halt my plans for an own liteweight GroupAuth for some days and give LiveUser a serious try despite the starting problems, so, sorry for any inconvience while asking for an user.
